| school started early for me, all of you aer probably still at home and chilling with everyone. heard from josh that there was a party for people in american studies and honors psychology. wasn't invited, and would have gone if i new about it, and then would have brought blake along to surprise and freak out mrs. horner, because she doesn't know that we're even dating. she would find it extremely hilarious (quiet person dating an extremely loud and obnoxious person, complete opposites)......someone should tell her!!!
anyway, i think this semester will be fun, new roommate and all. she's still sleeping, and i've been awake for at least a few hours, and i'm trying to be quit and not wake her up. so yeah, i have to read a lot of books this semester, but i have no problem with that. it's funny how i schedule my free time around reading and playing video games. oh well. i hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and a happy new year!! i am h\now on facebook, so look me up sometime.

Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic 5 weird habits of yourself, and people who get tagged write a xanga entry about their 5 strange habits as well as state this rule clearly. 1. sometimes when i'm bored i pick at my nails or my lips until they bleed (gross huh?). i know, i need help.
2. if i don't get to read in the morning with a cup of coffee, i know it's going to be a bad day.
3. I have had Frosty the Snowman stuck in my head for a week (story below).
4. I eat fruit-rollups by the box
5. I have to sing in the shower, and it's kinda hard when you live in a dorm and people are taking showers right next to you, so i hum instead.
ok, story to weird habit number three: For the past week, i've had to help one of my co-workers teach christmas songs. Her name is Tinu, and she's foreign, so she's doesn't know any of the American christmas songs to teach to the kids at the school that she teaches at. So i had to teach her how to sing Rudoulph the Red Nose Reindeer, and Frosty the Snowman. But mostly Frosty the snowman because the melody changes and stuff, and because she really likes it. It's hilarious! So there i am, singing Christmas songs while i'm working in the library. And ever since, Frosty has been stuck in my head, and i can't get it out!! I've tried everything, i even tried singing "play us a song, you're the piano man" like clare used to tell me. Still doesn't work. Any suggestions will be gratefully taken. Ready...set....go!!

| Tennessee was great. the cabin was insane, but the scenery was gorgeous. some of Blake's relatives are crazy, but not too bad. my family is worse. anyway, that's all i have to say for now because i have a lot of work to do:

| okay, a short update. My birthday was awesome, for all of those people that actually saw me or called me. I got some cool presents. It was really funny when i blew out my candles (aw, you should have stayed Dani, you would have thought it was great). so, anyway, i blew out my candles (apparently i'm 8 again, didn't have enough candles) on my Sara Lee cheese cake, and Christy asked me what i wished for, but then Amy said that i probably didn't wish for anything. I said "yeah, i already have my wish......" then there was a great silence in the room for a second. Then Christy yelled "awwwww, Blakey-poo!" because she's weird like that, and then Blake's face went all red and he tried to hide it, but it didn't work. It was so cute!
I started my new school schedule last week, and i love it! i get to sleep in everyday because my class either starts at ten or nine, which is sleeping in for me. I took my calculus test, and i Aced it!!! i was so excited that i jumped up in down when i saw the grade posted online. I'm not failing anymore! I get to sign up for next semester classes later today. i have seventeen hours again, but i get to have the same professor for two of my classes. Everyone keeps telling me that his classes are easy and he's a fun guy, so i'm glad about that.
Then on Sunday night, i was talking to Blake online and he kept telling me that he missed me, and he really wanted to see me. He got off and a few hours passed, and i was watching a movie before i went to bed when someone knocked on my door. Guess who? Surprise!! It was Blake, he drove two hours just to see me. Crazy dork! Not that i'm complaining or anything, trust me, i was estatic! But people probably thought i was dying when they heard me shout down the hall "What the crap!" Then he told me that i had to come home this weekend too, and i'm trying, but Josh still doesn't know if he can, i'll talk to him later about it. Well, i guess that's about it. I have a paper to write, and i should probably start that before thanksgiving. Oh, that reminds me, i'm going to Tennessee with Blake for Thanksgiving to meet his grandparents and stuff, kinda nervous but kinda not at the same time. Wierd, huh? Okay, have to go, i'll try to update more often, but really don't hold your breath. | | |
